Dramaten, House architect.

Project (2016-01-01)

Sweden’s national theatre, Dramaten, dates from 1908. Inspired by neo-classicism and the art nouveau, the theatre was designed by Fredrik Lilljekvist and built between 1902 and 1908. The building, often referred to as Thaliahuset, has been an officially listed building since 1994.

Mod Architects was 2016—20, through architect Lars Johan Tengnér, the National Property Board Sweden’s house architect for the theatre’s premises at Nybroplan and on Nybrogatan. As house architect we were responsible for giving qualified advice to the board regarding the management of its most demanding buildings.
